Sekom and Red Hat Showcase the Latest in Technology with Public Sector IT Managers in Ankara. The ‘Latest Innovations in Technology with Sekom and Red Hat’ event was held in Ankara on March 30th, with the participation of public sector IT managers. Sekom’s Ankara Regional Director, Erhan Yalçın, stated, “We are eager to bring our expertise in digital transformation projects to public institutions with our technically skilled and certified team.”
Highlighting that digital transformation is now an inevitable reality for institutions, Yalçın emphasized various factors driving and accelerating this transformation, saying, “Increasing user demands, complex data sources, the need for speed, and limited resources necessitate the modernization of existing systems, technologies, and methods.”
Yalçın pointed out key aspects, stating, “Shrinking budgets require achieving more with less, which is only possible by doing things differently. Thus, one of the major drivers of digital transformation, especially for public institutions, is budget constraints. The critical elements of digital transformation for the public sector are expected to be container architectures, modern application development methods, private/hybrid cloud applications, and modern virtualization projects.”
Red Hat Delivers Next-Generation Technologies for Digital Transformation
Discussing the collaboration with Red Hat, Yalçın said, “Red Hat has developed next-generation technologies that organizations need for digital transformation and is leading the IT world in this area. Components like containers, mobility, big data, and cloud are provided within Red Hat products to address enterprise needs and processes. The biggest advantage of Red Hat is that its solutions are driven by open-source technologies, the cornerstone of digital transformation. Therefore, Red Hat can offer the latest technologies needed for transformation at the most competitive prices and with predictable maintenance costs.”
Referring to Sekom’s 30th anniversary, Yalçın continued, “With the expertise and competencies we have developed in service and systems integration, our goal in the public sector is to play a key role in institutions’ digital transformations and achieve this transformation together. Our main areas of expertise include communication technologies, unified communications, cloud computing, Linux, virtualization solutions, DevOps, video, security, and data center solutions.
With its 30 years of expertise, Sekom provides consultancy, project management, installation, maintenance services, and migration scenarios along with products and technologies in digital transformation projects. We are eager to bring our experience in digital transformation projects to public institutions with our technically competent and certified team.”
